KlimaCampus Hamburg

In the context of the "Excellence Initiative" of the federal government the proposal of the University of Hamburg for a "Cluster of Excellence in Climate Change" was successful. 

KlimaCampus Hamburg combines the existing expertise in nature, social science and the humanities to target climate change issues.

Global thinking and acting - KlimaCampus Hamburg cooperates  with  associated institutes worldwide. 

With KlimaCampus Hamburg an interdisciplinary network of university and leading independent institutes has arisen.

KlimaCampus Hamburg provides an excellent research and education environment and stays in touch with policymakers and the public.

 

 

 

 

 

Focus of the KlimaCampus is the university center Bundesstraße 53-55 including the Geomatikum (left) and the Center of Marine and Atmospheric Science - ZMAW (below).
